JUDICIARY

Judiciary in any nation includes courts of law responsible for administration of justice to the aggrieved. They are also responsible for interpretation of laws, defending them, judging their application and adjudication of legal disputes. In the Indian context, the judiciary also plays an active role as a defender of the constitution & its federal nature, protector of fundamental rights, and performs advisory & supervisory roles over other courts.

The Foundation aims to work towards addressing governance issues plaguing judiciary such as backlog of cases, shortage of judges, lower conviction rates, delay in delivery of justice, etc. by doing primary research, support through policy advocacy and advisory services.
